Apply → Read → Review. Browse available ARCs, apply for the ones that interest you, read the book once the author approves you, and submit your honest review links.
An Advance Reader Copy (ARC) is a pre-publication version of a book that authors share with readers before its official release date.
No. You are not required to leave a review. Honest opinions, including critical ones, are welcome — reviews are voluntary, and you are free to share critical opinions. Please be respectful in any criticism.
DNF means Did Not Finish. If a book isn't for you, you can mark it as DNF. You won't be punished or lose anything for marking DNF. DNF reasons are private between you and the author and are not shown on your public profile.
Browse available ARCs, find one that interests you, and click "Apply." The author will review your application and approve or reject it. Having a complete profile with your reading preferences helps authors make their decision.
Each ARC listing shows its available format. Most are digital (EPUB or PDF), but formats vary by author. You'll see the format before you apply.
You can post reviews anywhere — Amazon, Goodreads, BookBub, your blog, social media, or any combination. When submitting your review here, you'll paste links to where you posted it.
Spice level indicates the heat/romance content: 0 (Clean) has no explicit content, while 5 (Scorching) has very explicit scenes. This helps readers find books that match their comfort level.
For Authors
Register as an author, then click "Create New ARC" from your dashboard. Fill in your book details (title, summary, genre, format, review deadline) and paste your download link (BookFunnel, StoryOrigin, or a drive link). Approved readers will use this link to download your ARC.
Open "Manage" on any of your ARCs to see pending applications. Each application shows the reader's profile and their approved review count. Approve the readers you want — they'll get access to your ARC and an email notification. Rejected readers simply see "Rejected" in their applications list.
You may only reject reviews if the link is broken, not about this book, or violates platform rules — not because of rating or opinion. Honest reviews, including critical ones, are part of the deal.
When a reader can't finish your book, they mark it DNF with a reason. DNFs are part of honest reading — the reasons are private between you and the reader and can be useful feedback.
